Job summary

Marlborough Public Schools seeks a Long Term Substitute BCBA to work district-wide across Marlborough, MA. The role involves collaborating with teachers and staff to develop, implement, and monitor behavioral and educational IEP goals for students on the autism spectrum or with behavioral challenges.

The BCBA will assess and write behavioral programs, research evidence-based models, and provide professional development in ABA and ABLLS.

Qualifications

• Qualified as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credentials.
• Master’s degree required.
• Bilingual (Spanish or Portuguese) preferred.
• Massachusetts DESE Special Education license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in writing and implementing educational programs for students on the autism spectrum and/or with behavioral challenges.
• Write behavioral programs based on a functional behavioral assessment to determine the function of behavior noted.
• Research and implement ABA-based curriculum models with favorable outcomes for students on the autism spectrum and/or with behavioral challenges.
• Develop professional development for teachers and support staff in ABA and ABLLS.
• Collaborate with colleagues and administration to improve programs and procedures.
