Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of logistics/supply-chain experience.
- Multi-modal transportation knowledge including TL and LTL.
- Multi-year experience leading private fleets with demonstrated efficiency.
- Experience in budgeting and P&L responsibilities.
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
- Experience with SAP and SAPTM systems.
- Knowledge of DOT rules and regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication; teamwork-oriented.
- Willingness to travel ~75%.
Responsibilities
- Maintain an efficient private fleet across multiple locations to minimize costs.
- Improve driver HOS compliance and route plans to reduce CPM.
- Negotiate lane-level sourcing and truckload rates with carriers.
- Manage capacity for near- and long-term requirements.
- Oversee asset utilization and capital replacement planning.
- Own transportation budget and annual operating plan.
