Job summary

Expeditors International is seeking a Trade Compliance Manager to proactively coordinate with RTCM, branch management, and the Director of Trade Compliance. You will stay informed on current laws, maintain system knowledge, and guide branches to achieve compliance goals and quality customer service.

The role emphasizes training, escalation, and building a collaborative district-wide program with a strong emphasis on consistency and preventive controls.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Expeditors’ Policies and Procedures.
• Passion for Trade Compliance and doing the right thing.
• Global logistics industry knowledge.
• DG certification(s).
• Security Protocol training: C-TPAT, AEO, STP, or other security protocol.
• Product- or Service-specific export, import and/or operational training/certification.

Responsibilities

• Proactively communicate with RTCM, branch management, and DTC.
• Maintain knowledge of current trade compliance laws and policies.
• Lead Trade Compliance training and assess branch performance.
• Visit branches to deliver training and develop aptitude in Trade Compliance.
• Monitor reports and implement preventive controls.
