Qualifications

• Knowledge of Expeditors’ Policies and Procedures.
• Passion for Trade Compliance and doing the right thing.
• Global Logistics Industry knowledge.
• IATA/FIATA examination must pass.
• DG certification(s) preferred.
• Security protocol training: C-TPAT, AEO, STP, or equivalent.
• Product- or Service-specific export/import training/certification.
• Proficient in MS Office, Excel formulas and Pivot Tables.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Effective interpersonal skills across levels from Operations to Senior Management.

Responsibilities

• Proactively communicate with RTCM, branch management and DTC.
• Stay informed on applicable Trade Compliance laws and company policies.
• Maintain knowledge of Expeditors’ operating systems and how they support Trade Compliance goals.
• Lead Trade Compliance program training, monitoring, escalation, and guidance in the District.
• Deliver training at branches; visit branches regularly to build aptitude in Trade Compliance.
• Promote uniform compliance and positive messaging across branches.
• Escalate and remediate non-compliance issues per company procedures.
• Provide regular updates to DM, RTCM, and Product Managers on branch performance and regulatory changes.
• Support remediation plans and drive continuous improvement in Trade Compliance activities.
