Job summary

Expeditors in Portland, OR is seeking a District Trade Compliance Manager to lead the program across branches, training staff, and ensuring regulatory alignment with global logistics.

You will oversee monitoring, reporting, and escalation processes, collaborate with RTCM and DTC, and promote a culture of compliant, high-quality customer service.

The role requires strong knowledge of trade laws, certifications, and MS Office, with proven leadership and autonomy.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing and managing trade compliance programs.
• DG certification(s) and related compliance credentials.
• IATA/FIATA examination passing score or equivalent.
• Security Protocol training: C-TPAT, AEO, STP, or equivalent.
• Proficient in MS Office; strong analytical and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and administer the Company Trade Compliance program across the District.
• Train branch personnel and ensure adherence to escalation procedures.
• Run and review daily/weekly/monthly import/export compliance reports.
• Escalate and remediate non-compliance; communicate updates to leadership.
• Stay current on applicable Trade Compliance laws and directives.
