Job summary

Austintown Local Schools Educational Service Center of Eastern Ohio is seeking a District Technology Operations Coordinator to support daily operation, maintenance, security, and development of district technology systems. You will work with the Technology Supervisor to ensure reliable services for students, staff, administrators, and support personnel.

The role involves advanced technical support, administration of district networks and devices, user accounts, and coordinating technology

Qualifications

Associate degree in information technology, computer science, networking, cybersecurity, information systems, or a related field.
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, cybersecurity, educational technology, business administration, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of three years of progressively responsible technology experience.
Previous technology experience in public schools or multi-site organizations preferred.
Knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, networking, wireless systems, and user-account administration.
Experience supporting Google Workspace for Education, Google Admin Console, Chrome OS devices, or comparable enterprise systems preferred.
Knowledge of cybersecurity practices, access controls, system backups, endpoint protection, and incident-response procedures.
Strong communication, organizational, interpersonal, customer-service, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound professional judgment.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel among district facilities.
Successful State and Federal criminal background checks.
