Job summary

CVS Health in Ohio is seeking a District Support Pharmacist (DSP) to cover pharmacist scheduling gaps and support pharmacy teams across our district stores. You will oversee operations, ensure safe and accurate dispensing, and model a caring, patient-centered approach.

You will travel to assigned stores, immunize where permissible, coach staff, and maintain inventory integrity while adhering to federal and state laws and CVS policies.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Travel within a reasonable radius to support market staffing as business needs require.
• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Maintain focus and accuracy to ensure patient safety in prescription handling.
• Demonstrate strong communication and customer service, assisting patients and team members.
• Coordinate with the Pharmacy Manager and District Leader to ensure pharmacy operations run smoothly.
• Support immunization efforts and patient counseling in line with CVS policies.
• Assist with inventory management and protection of cold chain products.
