Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist (DSP) to support pharmacy teams across our district by covering scheduling gaps and acting as the Pharmacy Manager’s proxy when needed. You will travel to stores within the district to support staffing and ensure pharmacy operations run smoothly.

As a DSP, you will help manage dispensing, immunizations, inventory, and patient care programs while upholding CVS Health policies and state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Living CVS Health values by delivering safe and effective dispensing, counseling, and immunizing practices.
• Traveling the district to fill pharmacist shifts and oversee pharmacy operations during bench shifts.
• Ensuring safe and accurate prescription fulfillment by following pharmacy procedures and safety guidelines.
• Assuming Pharmacy Manager duties when serving as the on-duty pharmacist.
• Coaching the pharmacy team to provide compassionate care and resolve insurance or medication issues.
