Job summary

CVS Health in Lyndhurst, OH is seeking a District Support Pharmacist (DSP) to cover store pharmacy scheduling, support pharmacy teams, and oversee operations within the district. You will travel within a reasonable radius and be responsible for safety, dispensing, and patient care across stores.

You will immunize, assist with clinical services, and guide the pharmacy team to ensure high-quality patient experiences while remaining compliant with laws and CVS Health policies.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Cover pharmacist scheduling gaps within the district as directed by the Pharmacy Manager and DL.
• Support the pharmacy team with operations, patient care, and dispensing tasks.
• Oversee pharmacy workflow procedures and ensure safety guardrails at every workstation.
• Act as Pharmacy Manager’s proxy during bench shifts when needed.
• Immunize and provide clinical services where permissible to improve patient outcomes.
• Assist in inventory management and maintain cold chain products.
• Maintain scheduling flexibility to meet business needs and support a safe, inclusive team environment.
• Stay current with trainings and CMEs to support patients.
