Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist to cover pharmacist scheduling gaps and support pharmacy teams across the district. You will act as the Pharmacy Manager’s proxy during shifts, oversee workflow, and help ensure safe dispensing and patient care in CVS stores within your district.

This role requires an active Pharmacist license in the state, an active NPI, and the ability to travel as needed. Strong leadership and patient-care focus are essential to success in this position.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Travel within a reasonable radius to support market staffing as business needs require.
• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Attention and Focus: concentration on tasks and ability to pivot between tasks while ensuring patient safety.
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: actively help people in a friendly manner and support the pharmacy team.
