Job summary

CVS Health is seeking District Support Pharmacists to cover scheduling gaps across stores in a district, under the Pharmacy Manager's guidance, and to support daily pharmacy operations.

You will travel within a reasonable radius to fill shifts, ensure safe dispensing, counsel patients, immunize where permitted, and help manage inventory while protecting cold chain products. Strong licensing and travel ability are required.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Cover pharmacist scheduling gaps across the district under supervision by the Pharmacy Manager.
• Support the management, oversight and operation of the pharmacy and pharmacy team.
• Dispense medications safely, counsel patients, and immunize where permissible.
• Travel within the district to fill shifts and act as proxy for Pharmacy Manager.
