Job summary

CVS Health is hiring District Support Pharmacists to cover scheduling gaps and support store pharmacies within the district. You will work under the Pharmacy Manager and District Leader to help manage pharmacy teams and patient care.

You will travel to stores, assist with immunizations, ensure accurate dispensing, and contribute to safe, compliant operations while maintaining a focus on service and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Travel within the district to fill pharmacist shifts and support pharmacy teams.
• Oversee pharmacy operations and perform duties as proxy for Pharmacy Manager when needed.
• Ensure safe prescription fulfillment and adherence to workflow procedures.
• Assist in immunization delivery and patient counseling to improve outcomes.
• Support inventory management with emphasis on cold chain protection.
• Provide compassionate care and coach staff to deliver high-quality service.
