Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist (DSP) to cover pharmacist scheduling and support pharmacy teams across a district. You will travel to stores, oversee pharmacy operations, and act as the Pharmacy Manager's proxy on bench shifts while ensuring safe medication dispensing and patient care.

Responsibilities include immunizations, counseling, insurance coordination, and adherence to all federal/state regulations.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Travel within a reasonable radius to support market staffing as business needs require.
• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Provide excellent customer service and team orientation to support patient care.
• Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues; use active listening.
• Apply mathematical reasoning to dispensing and inventory tasks.
• Resolve problems affecting patient care and workflow.
• Meet physical demands of the role including lifting and standing for long periods.
