Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist (DSP) to support pharmacy teams across stores in the district. You will cover pharmacist scheduling gaps under the Pharmacy Manager’s direction and supervise operations to ensure safe, accurate dispensing and patient care.

The role emphasizes immunizations, inventory management, and coaching staff to provide compassionate care while navigating insurance issues and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Support pharmacy operations by covering pharmacist scheduling gaps across the district.
• Oversee safe and accurate prescription fulfillment following workflow procedures.
• Serve as Pharmacy Manager’s proxy during bench shifts without overlap.
• Coach the pharmacy team to deliver compassionate care and resolve insurance issues.
• Assist with immunizations and support inventory management, including cold chain products.
