Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist (DSP) to cover pharmacist scheduling gaps across the district, under the direction of the Pharmacy Manager and Rx District Leader. You will support the pharmacy team, ensure safe dispensing, and contribute to patient care within CVS Health stores.

The role requires an active pharmacist license, CNPI, and willingness to travel. Full-time schedule with weekly hours around 40 and competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Travel within a reasonable radius to support market staffing as business needs require.
• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Ability to concentrate on a task over a period of time and pivot quickly between tasks to meet patient and business needs.
• Provide patient counseling and safe, accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Support immunization services where permissible and coach the team to immunize.
