Job summary

CVS Health is seeking District Support Pharmacists (DSPs) to travel within the district, cover pharmacist shifts, and support pharmacy teams across CVS stores. You will oversee operations, ensure safe dispensing, and act as a Pharmacy Manager’s proxy during bench shifts when needed.

The role emphasizes patient care, compliance with laws, immunization administration where permitted, and collaboration with the pharmacy team to maintain service quality while traveling across locations.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Traveling within the district to fill pharmacist shifts as scheduled by the District Performance Coordinator.
• Assist in managing pharmacy operations and cover Pharmacy Manager duties as needed.
• Support safe and accurate prescription fulfillment and maintain patient safety standards.
• Provide immunization services where permissible and coach pharmacy staff accordingly.
