CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist (DSP) to travel across the district, cover pharmacist shifts, and support pharmacy teams in delivering high quality patient care. The role emphasizes safety, counseling, immunizations, and collaboration with the Pharmacy Manager and district leaders.

The DSP supports pharmacy operations, manages scheduling gaps, and ensures compliance with policies and patient privacy while maintaining a compassionate, patient-centered approach across CVS

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Cover pharmacist scheduling gaps and support pharmacy teams.
• Oversee pharmacy operations and ensure safe, accurate dispensing.
• Assist with immunizations and patient counseling.
• Coach and support pharmacy technicians and staff.
• Travel within a reasonable radius to cover market staffing.
• Adhere to all federal and state laws, CVS policies and privacy rules.
