As a DSP, you will be at the forefront of delivering our purpose, modeling our values, and showing authentic, compassionate care for our patients. Your responsibilities include supporting pharmacy operations across the district, covering pharmacist scheduling gaps under the guidance of the Pharmacy Manager (PM) and Rx District Leader (DL), and working in various stores to oversee pharmacy functions.

Your key duties involve:

1. Managing and enhancing patient health through safe dispensing, counseling, and immunizations.
2. Traveling within the district to fill pharmacist shifts as scheduled, and acting as the Pharmacy Manager’s proxy during shifts without overlap.
3. Supporting safe prescription fulfillment by adhering to workflow procedures and safety protocols.
4. Assuming Pharmacy Manager duties when serving as the primary pharmacist-on-duty.
5. Providing excellent patient care by demonstrating empathy, coaching staff, and resolving insurance or medication issues.
6. Administering immunizations and supporting pharmacy technicians in immunization procedures.
7. Managing pharmacy inventory effectively, with special attention to cold chain products.
8. Maintaining up-to-date clinical and technical skills, and seeking opportunities for professional growth.
9. Supporting clinical services like testing and prescribing (where permissible) to improve patient outcomes.
10. Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies to support patient safety and a secure, inclusive workplace.
