Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. in New York is seeking a Store Manager to lead all store operations and maximize sales while upholding the company’s values of trust and integrity.

You will mentor and coach a team of assistants and associates, manage the multi-million-dollar budget, and partner with district and regional teams to deliver a world-class shopping experience. You will drive daily merchandising, operations and service tasks, recruit and develop staff, and ensure outstanding customer service

Qualifications

• 5+ years of retail management experience in a Big Box or Specialty environment.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift and move boxes weighing up to 40 lbs.
• Experience using scheduling and reporting software.
• Travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Direct management and oversight of Assistant Managers, Supervisors, and Store Associates to implement company policies and initiatives.
• Ensure store team fulfills individual responsibilities and maintains standards.
• Coordinate with Merchandising for merchandise placement, promotions and pricing.
• Review receiving, transfers, returns-to-vendor, and chargebacks to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Act as Manager on Duty; lead by example and uphold Burlington SOPs.
• Manage multi-million-dollar sales volume and budget reporting.
