Job summary

H&R Block in Idaho is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to recruit Tax Associate candidates and engage students from application to start date. You will coordinate interviews and assist with onboarding, education, and ongoing training needs.

Additionally, you’ll help plan virtual or in-person tax office open houses and career fairs to attract strong candidates. This role requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and proficiency with MS Office and Teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in recruiting and talent acquisition.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
• Self-starter with the willingness to learn new skills and work independently.
• Ability to effectively communicate in person and virtually.
• Experience with computer systems and technology (i.e Microsoft Office, Teams).
• High school diploma / GED/ equivalent or higher.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred).
• Experience with iCIMS applicant tracking system (preferred).
• 2 years of experience in retail, hospitality, or customer service environment (preferred).

About The Role

You’ll play a critical role in building strong tax office teams by recruiting, screening, and engaging candidates and students throughout the hiring and onboarding lifecycle—helping ensure our offices are staffed with qualified associates ready to support our clients.
