Job summary

Einstein Bros Bagels is seeking a District Shift Leader to participate in a targeted General Manager development plan and prepare to take ownership of a bakery as a GM when available. You will lead daily operations, coach teams, and support multiple locations within the market.

Shifts start as early as 3am for opening duties. The role includes travel across bakeries, brand ambassadorship, and ongoing training for leadership, inventory, scheduling, and hiring.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience preferred.
• Must be able to work varied hours/days including early hours and weekends (as early as 3am).
• Must be able to pass a background check and possess a current, valid driver’s license.
• Must complete Bagel Brands ServSafe Certification by the end of the GM development plan, if not already possessed.

Responsibilities

• Perform management duties at a home location and support other bakeries in the market.
• Lead by example, coach and train teams, and ensure high-quality food and service.
• Assist in inventory tracking, vendor orders, cash handling, and scheduling as part of the GM path.
