Job summary

Beckman Coulter Life Sciences, a Danaher company, seeks a Senior Manager for Americas Field Service to lead a remote, regional team within the Pacific West framework. The role focuses on customer success, escalation resolution, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver value-driven service offerings.

You will drive operational excellence, coach leaders, and partner with Sales to grow service revenue while ensuring profit targets across districts.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience leading field employees or 5+ years with a Master’s degree and 5+ years of experience.
• Ability to listen to stakeholders and generate actionable insights.

This position reports to the Senior Manager, North America Field Service and is part of the Americas Field Service organization covering the Pacific West region.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Business Growth & Financial Performance: Drive revenue growth through service agreement sales and lead generation.
• Collaborate with Sales to support strategic initiatives and optimize service offerings.
• Manage district P&L to meet profit targets.
• Process Improvement & Innovation: Champion kaizen and DBS methodologies to streamline operations and enhance service delivery.
• Partner cross-functionally to develop value-driven service packages.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Bachelor’s degree and/ or equivalent experience with 6+ years of experience leading field employees OR Master’s degree in the same with 5+ years of experience OR Associate's degree in the same and 8+ years of experience.
• Inclination and ability to listen to various stakeholders (e.g. Customers, Sales) and generate actionable insights.
• Deliver results while quickly adapting to changing priorities and unforeseen challenges.
• Communicate expectations regarding performance and hold people accountable for results.
• Strong deductive reasoning and problem-solving skills.
• Commercial experience, including direct selling of products or services.
• Exposure to and ownership of a P&L.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

Ability to travel – list specifics 25% - 30% of the time within region and/or business unit locations within the United States. This role is fully remote, associate must live within District region, preferably San Francisco (Bay Area). Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: Supervisor or managerial experience leading a remote Field Service team.

The annual salary range for this role is $135,000.00 - $160,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
