Basic Job Functions

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on District Sales Manager to drive business growth across key markets through a remote position. Responsibilities include developing and executing sales strategies across channels, managing project documentation, bidding processes, and customer relationships, requiring technical expertise and relationship management skills.

Additional Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement business strategies to meet/exceed sales targets, maintaining relationships with dealers, end-users, and Nucor sites.
  • Manage bid invitations, project documentation, and technical drawings, including detailed take-offs using PDF editing tools.
  • Handle complex customer interactions, resolve claims and disputes, and maintain positive relationships.
  • Stay current with market trends, industry standards, and proficiency in Nucor Door Technology's software systems.
  • Drive revenue through direct sales, building and maintaining strategic relationships in the territory.

Safety is paramount; candidates must demonstrate the ability to uphold safety policies and standards consistently.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 3+ years in consultative B2B sales
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or related field, or 4+ years of industry experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in manufacturer-to-dealer sales environments
  • Knowledge of sectional and rolling steel overhead door products
  • Experience with CRM tools, especially MS Dynamics
  • Experience managing remote sales teams
  • Familiarity with C.H.I. Dealer marketing tools and digital sales growth support
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and multi-project management skills
  • Understanding of Nucor's internal sales processes
