United Rentals is seeking a District Sales Manager to lead a qualified sales team and drive revenue growth in the district. You will collaborate with Branch Managers, the District Manager, and the Regional Sales & Marketing Director to meet business objectives and expand market presence.

The role emphasizes leadership, strategic planning, and customer-focused sales initiatives, with a focus on maximizing profitability and market share in assigned territories.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of outside sales or sales management experience with proven planning and negotiation skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient with Salesforce and data-driven selling.

Responsibilities

• Motivate and support Outside Sales Reps to meet revenue goals.
• Develop new markets and understand market trends affecting profitability.
• Set sales territories, goals and forecasts with Branch and District Managers.
• Coordinate Inside and Outside Sales activities to align objectives.
• Lead customer-focused events to improve relationships and drive sales.
• Promote national/strategic account revenue within the district.
• Utilize Salesforce effectively to manage sales processes.
