Job summary

Sysco Northeast RDC in Illinois seeks a District Sales Manager to lead Sales Consultants, drive profitable growth, and coach a high-performance team across Orland Park, Joliet, Tinley Park. You will manage district performance and oversee coaching, Friday meetings, and CRM utilization to fuel sales.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of foodservice sales experience, 2+ years growing profitable sales, and a Bachelor’s or equivalent. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree in business or related field or equivalent industry experience preferred.
• Minimum 2 years' experience growing profitable sales in foodservice; 5+ years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage performance and development of Sales Consultants within the district.
• Conduct weekly coaching sessions and 3–5 work-withs per week with SCs.
• Lead district meetings to educate, inspire and drive behavior change.
• Drive customer engagement and expand service channel options for Sysco customers.
• Utilize CRM and Sysco 360 for sales planning, prospecting and engagement.
• Deliver Sysco brand results and manage conversion opportunities in the district.
• Provide coaching, training and feedback to develop consultative selling skills.
