Job summary

Sysco is seeking a District Sales Manager to lead Sales Consultants in the Orland Park, Joliet, Tinley Park area. You will coach and develop talent to achieve profitable growth while leveraging technology and CRM tools.

Expect 3–5 coaching sessions weekly, Friday district meetings, and comprehensive territory management including customer engagement and promotions. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school education is required; a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Experience growing profitable sales in foodservice is valued; strong leadership and coaching skills required.
• Proficiency in Sysco’s CRM and related sales tools is expected.

Responsibilities

• Manages the performance and development of Sales Consultants within the district.
• Coaches and directs SCs with 3–5 work-withs per week and leads Friday district meetings.
• Drives customer engagement using technology, value-added services, and team selling.
• Executes territory planning and manages sales forecasting, CRM usage, and daily customer engagement.
• Coaches, trains, and provides timely feedback to develop consultative selling skills.
• Manages relationships with top customers and high-value prospects to achieve profitable growth.
