Job summary

The District Manager at Green Thumb leads multiple retail stores within a district, driving sales, compliance, and customer engagement across the portfolio. You will develop General Managers, align store operations with the company vision, and ensure profitability and inventory control while maintaining brand standards.

You’ll spend ~75% on tactical store initiatives and 25% on strategic initiatives, building a high-performing, customer-focused team across locations and navigating regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• At least five years managing teams in a retail setting with POS operations.
• At least two years of multi-unit management experience preferred.
• Cannabis experience preferred.
• Experience maintaining P&L responsibility for a significant retail operation.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Must have reliable attendance, 21+ and valid driver's license or state ID.
• Ability to travel up to 75%, mostly within the state.

Responsibilities

• Lead district stores with focus on talent development and operational excellence.
• Set store targets, monitor performance, and drive profitability.
• Collaborate with GM teams to build internal talent pipelines and succession plans.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
• Coach store managers and maintain strong guest experiences.
• Partner with regional leadership to align retail strategy and growth objectives.
• Forecast sales and inventory needs for the district.
• Travel across stores within the district as needed.
