MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education: High school diploma or GED
Experience: 1 -3 years general office
Skills: Computer literacy required; excellent interpersonal skills; highly accurate and detail-oriented
SUMMARY:

Operates multi-line switchboard.
Receives and screens all incoming calls; routes calls to appropriate staff and supplies information to callers.
Receives visitors, obtains name and nature of business. Follows and enforces district policy on visitor check-in.
Answers inquiries from parents/guardians and school officials using BOE guidelines and state approved codes.
Performs clerical duties such as typing correspondence, sorting and delivering messages, photocopying, assisting with large mailing projects.
Helps distribute and organize items for site substitutes.
Assists in report data compilation and preparation.
Maintains office records and supplies.
Assists other staff as needed on special projects and performs other duties assigned by supervisor or administrator.
Performs other duties as assigned.

ATTENDANCE STATEMENT:
Able to be in attendance for assigned responsibilities with 95% attendance.

Primarily inside working conditions with no exposure to extreme environmental conditions.
