Job summary

SkillsUSA Texas is seeking a District Coordinator to support the Executive Director in operating the State office and its functions within the SkillsUSA Texas Constitution and Bylaws. The role focuses on district leadership, membership growth, and collaboration with educators and administrators to advance SkillsUSA Texas programs.

The position requires five years in education, strong communication, and the ability to travel, including evenings and weekends, with annual contract evaluations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of experience in the education field.
• Experience with SkillsUSA CTSOs is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders across the organization and the public.
• Willingness to travel extensively and work evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a communication system with key stakeholders.
• Implement local, district, and regional growth strategies for SkillsUSA Texas.
• Build and maintain partnerships with the Department of Education and school leaders.
• Collaborate with championships staff to prepare contest standards and judges for conferences.
• Support leadership conferences and district activities; coordinate Summer Leadership events.
