Job summary

Shelby County Schools in Memphis is seeking a Professional Learning Analyst to design, plan, and implement district-wide professional learning initiatives aligned to the district’s strategic plan.

The role collaborates with the Professional Development Management Team, school administrators, and central office staff to analyze trends, plan solutions for teacher learning, and monitor outcomes while supporting PL quality across the district.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Public or Business Administration, Human Resources, Education or a closely related area.
• Four (4) years related experience, or equivalent, for a total education/experience of eight (8) years.
• Professional experience as a teacher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and maintains narrative and statistical reports and files related to services and operations.
• Uses data to identify trends and advise on project execution to meet outcomes.
• Creates professional learning project plans addressing data trends and district PL goals.
• Establishes and executes project communication plans and coordinates with PL staff.
• Monitors district-wide PL quality and provides feedback to other departments.
• Designs professional learning aligned to content standards for teachers and staff.
• Assists with special projects and collaborates with management to achieve system-wide results.
• Liaises with Instructional Technology and IT to support district initiatives.
• Supports the Learning Management System for professional development.
• Works with PL Clerk to organize necessary trainings.
