What We Are Hungry For

The District Production Manager is responsible for managing sanitation, monitoring packaging and all displays to ensure the best quality products are delivered to our customers. This role involves maintaining sanitation, displays, and quality at the highest level, and mentoring employees to ensure customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of food production techniques, sanitation, and quality assurance to help achieve our mission.

Knowledge And Responsibilities

• Supervise store staff in a region
• Recruit and hire staff for stores
• Manage schedules of production staff
• Train employees on quality, sanitation, and food production techniques
• Set purchasing plans
• Improve processes and facilities
• Evaluate sanitary compliance and levels
• Ensure compliance with sanitation laws and regulations
• Monitor health inspection standards
• Identify and address sanitation issues
• Collaborate with production managers on sanitation improvements
• Assess and improve product quality
• Conduct training on improvements and new products
• Prepare reports on activities and product defects
• Calculate and report product costs
• Manage personnel expenses

What You Need To Have

• Educational background in Confectionery/Foods, with over 6 months of culinary courses
• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience, preferably in bakery or café settings
• Knowledge of food production processes, sanitation, and quality programs
• Understanding of food microbiology, safety practices, GMP, HACCP, ISO 9000, and regulatory standards
• Skills in root cause analysis and project management
• Leadership qualities with passion for empowering teams
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to give constructive feedback and foster a high-performance culture
• High emotional intelligence and empathy
