The New York City Department of Education seeks a District Planning Analyst to translate demographic, enrollment, and space utilization data into strategic insights for district planning and rezoning proposals, under Chancellor’s Regulations A-190/A-185 and NYS class size mandates.

They will build and maintain interactive dashboards and GIS maps, collaborate with the Borough Planning Team, and present findings to stakeholders while aligning tools with agency priorities.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or master's degree in a relevant field with analytics experience.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and data visualization (Power BI).
• Experience translating datasets into actionable district planning insights.
