In this role, the District Planning Analyst synthesizes demographic, enrollment, admissions, and space utilization data to identify critical trends, models school level planning scenarios, and designs data tools to support the development of school utilization and rezoning proposals under Chancellor’s Regulations A-190 and A-185 as well as in compliance with New York State class size law mandates. The Analyst supports the Borough Planning Team during engagements with impacted stakeholders, such as community meetings and CEC presentations, to conduct ad hoc research on data trends, prepare analyses, and data visualizations, and help formulate responsive proposals.
