Job summary

CVS Health is seeking District Support Pharmacists to help lead pharmacy teams across stores in the district. You will cover pharmacist scheduling gaps, support the Pharmacy Manager, and ensure safe dispensing and patient care.

Travel within a reasonable radius is required to cover shifts and support district operations. The role includes immunization services and collaboration with the patient care team to improve health outcomes while complying with all applicable laws and policies.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Travel within the district to fill pharmacist shifts as scheduled, acting as the Pharmacy Manager's proxy when needed.
• Support safe and accurate prescription fulfillment by guiding the pharmacy team and adhering to workflow procedures.
• Contribute to patient care by counseling, immunization administration, and resolving insurance/medication issues.
