Job summary

CVS Health is hiring District Support Pharmacists to cover pharmacist scheduling gaps across multiple stores within a district. You will support the pharmacy team, model professional conduct, and uphold CVS standards while delivering safe, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities include dispensing, counseling, immunizations where permissible, and collaborating with the Pharmacy Manager and District Leader to maintain high-quality patient care across all assignments.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Travel within a reasonable radius to support market staffing.
• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Assist Pharmacy Manager and pharmacy team to ensure safe dispensing and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Provide patient counseling and immunization services where permissible; support the pharmacy team.
• Maintain compliance with federal/state laws and CVS policies; protect patient privacy and safety.
