Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist (DSP) for our retail pharmacies. This part-time role involves traveling across the district to cover pharmacist shifts, supporting the Pharmacy Manager, and ensuring safe dispensing and patient care.

You will oversee pharmacy operations and collaborate with the pharmacy team to deliver high-quality care. Ideal candidates hold an active Pharmacist license in the state, an active NPI, and meet DEA exclusion requirements.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Manage and improve patient health through safe dispensing, counseling, and immunizing practices.
• Travel within the district to fill pharmacist shifts and support the pharmacy team.
• Support safe and accurate prescription fulfillment by following workflow procedures.
