CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist (DSP) to support pharmacy teams across stores within the district. The role includes covering pharmacist shifts, managing operations in the Pharmacy Manager's absence, and ensuring safe prescription fulfillment.

The position requires an active pharmacist license in the store's state, an active NPI, and compliance with DEA exclusion rules. Travel within a reasonable district radius is expected, with 20 weekly hours in a part-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Travel within the district to fill pharmacist shifts as scheduled.
• Support the pharmacy team and oversee operations in absence of the Pharmacy Manager.
• Ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment following workflow procedures.
• Provide immunizations and counsel patients where permissible.
• Maintain patient safety and comply with laws and CVS policies.
• Assist with inventory management, including cold chain preservation.
• Deliver compassionate patient care and collaborate with the healthcare team.
• Remain flexible for scheduling and business needs.
• Maintain clinical and technical skills through trainings.
• Travel ability within reasonable radius as business needs require.
