Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is seeking a District Support Pharmacist (DSP) to cover scheduling gaps and support pharmacy teams across stores within the district. The DSP role emphasizes safe dispensing, patient counseling, immunizations, and adherence to pharmacy workflows under the Pharmacy Manager’s guidance.

Ideal candidates hold an active pharmacist license, an NPI, and must not be on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Travel within a reasonable radius to support market staffing as business needs require.
• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required trainings within designated timeframe.
• Ensure prescription accuracy and patient safety in dispensing and labeling.
• Support immunizations and collaborate with the healthcare team to improve patient outcomes.
• Maintain knowledge of pharmacy operations, inventory and regulatory compliance.
