Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist to support pharmacy teams across our district, covering scheduling gaps and ensuring safe, accurate dispensing and patient care. You will travel within the district to fill shifts and act as the Pharmacy Manager's proxy when needed.

In this role, you’ll supervise workflow, support immunizations, manage inventory with cold chain care, and coach staff to deliver compassionate care while complying with laws and CVS policies.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Living our purpose by helping to manage and improve patient health through safe and appropriate dispensing, counseling, and immunizing practices.
• Traveling the district to fill pharmacist shifts and oversee pharmacy operations as the Pharmacy Manager's proxy.
• Supporting safe and accurate prescription fulfillment and guiding the team in workflow procedures.
