CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist to oversee pharmacy operations across district locations, providing leadership in dispensing, counseling, and immunization services. You will travel to fill shifts, mentor staff, and ensure compliance with pharmacy workflow and safety standards.

You will champion patient care, collaborate with the healthcare team, and expand access to care by enabling pharmacist-driven clinical services where permissible.

Competenze

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Mansioni

• Travel within the district to fill pharmacist shifts; oversee the pharmacy and serve as the Pharmacy Manager's proxy during bench shifts.
• Support safe and accurate prescription fulfillment by following pharmacy workflow procedures and safety guardrails at every workstation.
• Serve as Pharmacy Manager's day-to-day lead when acting as the only or primary pharmacist on duty.
• Contribute to positive patient experiences by showing empathy, coaching the pharmacy team to provide compassionate care and resolve insurance/medication issues.
• Proactively offer and deliver immunizations to keep patients healthy; support Pharmacist Technicians to learn to immunize.
• Assist in effective management of pharmacy inventory with emphasis on protecting cold chain products.
• Remain flexible for scheduling and business needs; contribute to a safe, inclusive, and engaging team dynamic.
• Maintain and expand clinical/technical skills and complete required CVS trainings and CME activities.
• Support access to care and pharmacist-delivered clinical care (e.g., testing and prescribing where permissible).
