Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist to cover scheduling gaps and oversee pharmacy teams across stores in the district. You will model CVS values, ensure safe dispensing, immunization services, and patient-centered care while supporting the Pharmacy Manager’s day-to-day duties.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Travel within the district to fill pharmacist shifts as scheduled and act as proxy to the Pharmacy Manager when needed.
• Support safe and accurate prescription fulfillment and immunization practices.
• Assist in managing pharmacy operations, staffing, and patient care across multiple stores.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state laws, CVS policies, and controlled substance regulations.
• Provide compassionate patient service and coaching to the pharmacy team.
• Assist with inventory management and cold chain protections where applicable.
