Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist to cover pharmacy scheduling gaps across stores within the district. You will support the pharmacy team, uphold safety and quality standards, and provide patient-centered care including immunizations and counseling.

The role requires active pharmacist licensure in the state, an active NPI, and willingness to travel district-wide. Part-time scheduling with weekend availability is expected, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

Active Pharmacist License in the state where the store is located.
Active National Provider Identifier (NPI) is required.
Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.
Willingness to travel within a reasonable radius to support market staffing.
Excellent patient service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Travel within the district to fill pharmacist shifts as scheduled; serve as the Pharmacy Manager's proxy.
Support safe and accurate dispensing and immunization practices.
Assist in managing pharmacy inventory and patient care workflows.
Provide compassionate care and guidance to patients and team members.
Support compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and CVS Health policies.
