Job summary

CVS Health, a national pharmacy leader, seeks a District Support Pharmacist to cover scheduling gaps across stores in the district. You will support pharmacy teams, ensure safe dispensing, and uphold quality while traveling to fill shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Traveling the district to fill pharmacist shifts as scheduled and oversee pharmacy operations.
• Support safe and accurate dispensing by following workflow procedures and safety guardrails.
• Assume Pharmacy Manager’s day-to-day duties when serving as the primary pharmacist on duty.
• Coach staff to deliver compassionate patient care and resolve insurance or medication issues.
• Support immunizations and clinical care such as testing and prescribing where permissible.
