Job summary

CVS Health is seeking District Support Pharmacists to support pharmacy teams across stores in the district, covering scheduling gaps and acting as the Pharmacy Manager’s proxy during bench shifts.

In this role you will travel within a reasonable radius, oversee safe dispensing, immunizations, inventory control, and ensure patient care remains compassionate and compliant with CVS policies.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Travel within a reasonable radius to fill pharmacist shifts as scheduled.
• Support safe and accurate prescription fulfillment by following workflow procedures.
• Assume Pharmacy Manager’s day-to-day duties when serving as the only or primary pharmacist-on-duty.
• Contribute to positive patient experiences by coaching the pharmacy team to deliver compassionate care.
• Deliver immunizations and support Pharmacy Technicians to learn to immunize.
• Assist in inventory management with emphasis on protecting cold chain products.
