Job summary

CVS Health in Michigan is seeking District Support Pharmacists (DSPs) for part-time roles across CVS stores in the district. You will help cover pharmacist scheduling gaps, support the pharmacy teams, and ensure safe dispensing and patient care.

You will deliver immunizations, counsel patients, and assist the Pharmacy Manager to maintain smooth operations. A current pharmacist license and ability to travel are required, with weekend availability and a commitment to patient safety.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Living CVS Health purpose by ensuring safe dispensing, counseling, and immunizing practices.
• Traveling the district to fill shifts and oversee the pharmacy in absence of the Pharmacy Manager.
• Follow pharmacy procedures and safety guardrails at every workstation to support patient safety.
• Cover Pharmacy Manager duties when serving as the primary pharmacist on duty.
• Support patient experiences through empathy, collaboration with the healthcare team, and resolving insurance/medication issues.
