Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist (DSP) to lead pharmacy operations across stores in the district, ensuring safe, accurate dispensing and strong patient care. You will cover scheduling gaps, mentor staff, and support the Pharmacy Manager’s leadership to maintain high service standards.

Travel within the district is required to support market staffing, with weekends and flexible hours. A Pharmacist license and NPI are required, and you will join a team dedicated to quality,

Qualifications

Must hold an active Pharmacist license in the state where the CVS Store is located.
Must have an active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
Must not be on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

Travel within the district to fill pharmacist shifts as scheduled; oversee the pharmacy and serve as proxy for the Pharmacy Manager.
Support safe and accurate prescription fulfillment by following workflow procedures and protecting patient safety.
Assist in managing pharmacy operations during pharmacist coverage gaps and days off, including supervision of staff.
Contribute to positive patient experiences by delivering compassionate care and counseling.
Support immunization delivery and coaching of technicians to immunize where permissible.
