Job summary

CVS Health is seeking District Support Pharmacists to cover pharmacist scheduling gaps across stores in the district, supporting the Pharmacy Manager and Rx District Leader. You will help manage the pharmacy team and ensure safe dispensing and counseling.

The role requires an active pharmacist license, ability to travel within a reasonable radius, and willingness to immunize and support patient care services.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Living CVS Health's purpose by improving patient health through safe dispensing and counseling.
• Traveling the district to fill pharmacist shifts and act as proxy for Pharmacy Manager.
• Support safe prescription fulfillment and follow pharmacy workflow procedures.
• Assist Pharmacy Manager during day-to-day duties when on duty as primary pharmacist.
• Improve patient experiences through empathetic care and team coaching.
• Deliver immunizations and support pharmacy technicians learning to immunize.
