Job summary

CVS Health is hiring a District Support Pharmacist to cover scheduling gaps and support the pharmacy team across stores in the district. You will supervise, dispense safely, counsel patients, and immunize where permissible, while ensuring efficient operations and patient care.

The role emphasizes travel, flexibility, and reliable attendance, with a focus on supporting patient outcomes and collaborating with the Pharmacy Manager and District Leader.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list

Responsibilities

• Travel within a reasonable radius to support market staffing as business needs require
• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
• Complete required training within designated timeframe
• Concentrate on tasks, pivot quickly between tasks to meet patient and business needs
• Confirm prescription information and label accuracy to ensure patient safety
• Deliver immunizations and coach the pharmacy team to do the same
• Help manage pharmacy inventory with focus on cold chain protection
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging team dynamic
• Support pharmacist-delivered clinical care where permissible
• Comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and CVS Health policies
