Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacist District Specialist (DSP) to travel within the market, cover pharmacist shifts, oversee the pharmacy operations, and serve as the Pharmacy Manager’s proxy when needed. You will ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment and coach the pharmacy team to deliver compassionate care.

You will lead efforts to protect patient safety, manage inventory including cold chain, support immunizations, and collaborate with the patient’s healthcare team.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Travel within a reasonable radius to support market staffing.
• Fill pharmacist shifts as scheduled and oversee pharmacy operations.
• Ensure safe prescription fulfillment following procedures.
• Coach the pharmacy team to deliver compassionate care.
• Support immunizations and immunization training for staff.
