Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist (DSP) to cover pharmacist shifts across stores in the district. You will support the Pharmacy Manager and Rx District Leader, oversee pharmacy operations, and ensure safe dispensing, counseling, and immunization practices with a patient‑first mindset.

The role requires active state pharmacist licensure, an active NPI, and compliance with DEA exclusion rules. Occasional travel within a reasonable radius is expected to support market staffing.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Travel within the district to fill pharmacist shifts as scheduled by the DPC.
• Support pharmacy management and oversee the pharmacy team.
• Assist safe and accurate prescription fulfillment and patient counseling.
